Halloween High School
Colegio Santa Cecilia High School students learned about Halloween or Hallowe’en (a contraction of All Hallows’ Evening), also known as All Hallows’ Eve. It is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31, the eve of the feast of All Hallows (or All Saints). Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, attending costume parties, carving pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns, lighting bonfires, and apple bobbing.
At Colegio Santa Cecilia High School, instead of using pumpkins, each student carved a Caju into a jack-o’-lantern.
